Nier: Automata is a very strange game, with multiple „endings“ necessary to see its final ending and some of its content repeated from a different character’s perspective. It all comes together to deliver one of the most memorable conclusions in video games, but one smart player has figured out a way that lets you skip almost it all. We are not quite sure why You like it, but it seems possible.
Nier: Automata’s main spoilers to follow!
Once you unlock the ending „E“ in Nier: Automata, you are presented with an end credits sequence that sees other players saving data that helps you in the retro shooter sequence to defeat the script itself. Completing this gives you the opportunity to sacrifice your saved data – and thus erase all of your progress – in order to give another player a chance to beat the game as well. This is where Twitter user Lance McDonald comes in.
I found a cheat code in NieR Automata that allows you to skip to the last end immediately after killing the first boss and unlocking bonus modes. I will make a full video soon. It’s not a bug, it’s an actual cheat code encoded in the engine. Embed a Tweet pic.twitter.com/FtuNPovq6F

MacDonald has not fully explained the inputs you need to activate the cheat, but he promises a full video soon. In the teaser above, it is shown that you must kill the first game boss, who is at the end of the action sequence required to unlock the game. After that, he moves to the back of the ring, makes some jumps, and is then given the option to sacrifice his saved data without playing the rest of the game.
This is the „ultimate secret“ of the game that the game developers ridiculed several years ago, and it is the official of the series Twitter account statement for Japan Shortly after it was published. Yoke: Automata has more than 20 endings, most of which are jokes, and five of them are required to find out the actual score. Game director Yuko Taro appeared to confirm the cheat, responding on his own January 3.
Nier: Automata’s predecessor, Nier: Replicant, will get a remastered and redesigned version called Nier Replicant ver.1.22474487139 … on April 23. The game will be released for PS4, Xbox One, and PC, and features a combat rework more similar to Automata.
