Tania Roberts, best known for her roles in „That 70s Show“ and „View to a Kill“, is dead.

Officials did not reveal the cause of her death. Publicity agent and old friend Mike Pinngle said it wasn’t Covid-19.

I’ve been friends with Tania for over 20 years, ”Pinngle told CNN. „She was full of energy and we always had a good time together. She was really an angel and I’m going to miss her very much.“

Roberts was transferred to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles on December 24, after she collapsed at her California home after a morning walk with her dogs, Pinngle told CNN.

She passed away Sunday.

Born Victoria Lee Bloom, Roberts began her modeling career before breaking into movies. This was followed by a 30-year career in film and television.

I starred in my favorite movies „The Beastmaster“ and „Sheena: Queen of the Jungle“. She appeared in several popular TV shows at the time, including „Fantasy Island“, „The Love Boat“ and one season of „Charlie’s Angels“ as one of the three main characters.

Then came her most famous role up until that point. In 1985, she played geologist Stacy Sutton in „A View to a Kill“ opposite Roger Moore in his last appearance as 007.

Then she gained a new crowd of fans during her role as Midge, the mysterious mother of Donna Pinketti, on „That 70s Show.“ But she quit the sitcom all of a sudden in its fourth season to take care of her late husband who was diagnosed with the disease. (She returned in later seasons as a recurring character.)
